Austin Hennelly began his career in hospitality in 2012 at Momofuku’s boundary-pushing cocktail bar Booker and Dax in Manhattan’s East Village. In 2015, he joined the bar teams at James Beard Award-winning Maison Premiere and amaro-focused cult classic Amor y Amargo. He is currently setting the paradigm for cocktails in LA as the Bar Director of Michelin-starred Kato. His drinks have been featured in the LA Times, New York Times, Michelin Guide's Top Cocktails, Punch Magazine, Bon Appétit, The Daily Beast, Imbibe, Starchefs, and Forbes. In 2022, he was named one of Imbibe Magazine's 75 people or places to watch, and in 2023, Austin was the Michelin Guide's Exceptional Cocktail Award winner.
