In this seminar, St~Germain Senior Ambassador Julian Arreola, will guide you through an immersive journey of the fascinating history of liqueurs; the impact this category has had on the modern cocktail world; and the cultural shifts that inspired the creation of our liquid. Special guest Kevin Diedrich will highlight the importance of St~Germain to the modern cocktail renaissance and create cocktails for the session.

Julian started his career in his hometown of Chicago, before going on to explore the international cocktail cultures of cities such as Barcelona, Melbourne, and Auckland New Zealand before finding his way to the Bay Area. It’s here that he honed his craft eventually representing St~Germain for Northern California. He now resides in New York City and represents St~Germain as the Senior Ambassador.
Kevin Diedrich, Bartender and Owner, Pacific Cocktail Haven
Kevin brings a deep appreciation for and understanding of the Bay Area cocktail culture to Pacific Cocktail Haven (P.C.H), a concept that exudes hospitality and offers inspirational cocktails reflective of his illustrious career behind the bar. The menu’s classic approachable style is a perfect reflection of Diedrich.
Raised in Northern Virginia, Diedrich first began his hospitality career in 2002 as bartender at the Ritz-Carlton in Washington, D.C. before assuming the role as lead bartender for the hotel group’s San Francisco property in 2005. After that, he worked at renowned bars nationwide including PDT and Clover Club, before opening PCH.
PCH has been recognized as Esquire’s Best Bar’s in America, Timeout’s Cocktail Bar of the Year 2018, GGRA Saucy Award for Cocktail Bar of the Year 2019, Tales of the Cocktail Spirited Awards “Best American Cocktail Bar 2020” and more. Diedrich was honored as Thrillist’s 2016 bartender of the year and was nominated for “Best American Bartender” at Tales of the Cocktail for three consecutive years (2017, 2018, 2019,), the country’s most prestigious industry award.
