EDUCATION: Sustainable Batching Hacks for Large-Scale Events

High-volume cocktail events can be exhilarating and profitable, but they also require an incredible amount of oversight and attention to detail to prevent catastrophic hiccups that can destroy service during the said event. This class delves into the fiscally responsible, mentally favorable, and notably sustainable world of batching as a method for executing high-volume events. Batch Queen Amie Ward, Beverage Director of Camp Runamok, will lead this class and share some of their favorite hacks for navigating the batch world!

Amie Ward, Beverage Director, Camp Runamok
Amie Ward (they/she) is a decorated bartender, exercise physiologist, and health coach, Executive Director of Safe Bars, founder of The Healthtender, and President of the Baltimore Bartenders' Guild. Through these platforms, Amie addresses health, equity, and safety disparities in the hospitality industry by providing training, education, and unrestricted access to wellness resources. While her primary work now revolves around health advocacy for the beverage alcohol community, she serves on the judging panel for the L.A. Spirits Awards, has been the Beverage Director for Camp Runamok since 2018, and thrives in executing high-volume cocktail events.
